Class of 2008 wins Powderpuff game once again
The third annual Powderpuff football game was held under the lights on Friday, April 11th at 7 p.m. It was a cold spring night, but that didn’t stop the teams from bringing their best game forward. Southern Mass Credit Union holds grand opening

On April 5, the Southern Mass Credit Union opened its first-ever branch after 85 years of service to Greater New Bedford residents. The branch was opened on Fairhaven High School’s basement floor near the teacher’s room. The SMCU headquarters is on 123 Alden Road in Fairhaven.
“Our purpose here is to work with the administration and with the faculty to develop an award-winning program that encompasses a school to teaching our students at an early age the importance of financial well-being,” said SMCU President Daniel Waltz.
