District Benchmarks

Benchmarks define what we expect all students to know and be able to do by the time they leave their grade or course.

They provide a common vocabulary that enables all teachers, students, parents and administrators to understand the expectations for student learning. Fairhaven Public School educators developed our grade level benchmarks. They are unified, sequential, and are based upon sound research. They are in alignment with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
