Steps for New Student Registration Process
  1. Please call the guidance office at (508) 979-4120
  2. Establish residency: Must provide proof that the student is living in Acushnet or Fairhaven
    1. Fairhaven residents can prove residency and pick up a residency packet in FHS guidance office
    2. Acushnet Residents can come to the FHS guidance office to pick up a residency packet, but are directed to go to the Acushnet Superintendent’s office to prove residency
  3. The student and family are directed to request records from the transferring school—FHS requires the student’s transcript, discipline, attendance, and health records, as well as copy of the student’s birth certificate. 
  4. The student must then have a meeting with the building principal, Mrs. Tara Kohler.
  5. The student will then have an appointment with her/his guidance counselor to make her/his schedule and get a tour of the high school. 
  6. The student is able to start school the day following the appointment with the guidance counselor.
