Mission Statement

The mission at Fairhaven High School is to instruct students in practical knowledge, foster positive attitudes, and encourage acceptable behaviors needed to realize their potential in an increasingly complex world. The faculty, staff, and administration recognize their responsibility to provide a learning environment that nurtures each student’s inherent ability and desire to learn. A program of curricular, athletic, and co-curricular activities addresses the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social needs of students and encourages the development of pride and a sense of community. The successful development of each individual is a responsibility shared by the student, the school the family, and the Fairhaven community. At Fairhaven High School every teacher has the right to teach and every student has the right to learn.
