When should you contact your child's guidance counselor?
- Social/emotional issues: bullying/harrassment; family concerns; peer relationships; community resource information etc.
- Academic issues: such as grades; student schedule; X2 assistance; to request parent/teacher conference
- Transitional support and planning (entering middle school and high school )
How is my child assigned a guidance counselor?
- Students are assigned a guidance counselor simply based on their last name.
- Mrs. Rego has students with last names beginning with A - K
- Mrs. Tracey has students with last names beginning L - Z
