Principal's Message

     On behalf of the staff and students at Rogers Elementary, welcome to the Rogers School website. I am extremely proud of our students and staff. At our school you will find teachers dedicated to helping students realize academic, behavioral, and social success. Our students are encouraged to focus on their learning and being a PeaceBuilder each and every day. 

    Our instructional program is designed to aid each student in achieving success and their personal best. Each grade level’s curriculum is based on the Massachusetts State Standards which are implemented through the curricular choices set by Fairhaven Public Schools. As professional educators, we know your child’s success is based upon strong instructional practices in the classroom and a strong partnership with parents reinforcing and encouraging academic achievement. 

  We appreciate and support parent involvement in your child’s education as well as our school community. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and School Improvement Council (SIC) meet on a regular basis to discuss projects and issues related to improving our school. Whether you can attend our meetings, head up a committee or would like to volunteer for a special project, we welcome your involvement.
