On May 3, 2010, Governor Patrick signed into law comprehensive legislation to address bullying in public schools. Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2010, An Act Relative to Bullying in Schools, requires our district to create and implement strategies to prevent bullying, and to address bullying promptly and effectively when it occurs.

The most recently updated plan was reviewed and approved by the School Committee in the spring of 2025.

How to Report

Parents and guardians play an important role in the prevention effort. If you need to file a report, blank Incident Reporting Forms can be found below and may also be obtained at each school's main office, guidance office, nurse's office, the Administrative Building on Washington Street, or the Fairhaven Police Department.

Completed Incident Reporting Forms should be submitted to the specific school's main office.

Reports may be made anonymously, but no disciplinary action will be taken against an alleged aggressor solely on the basis of an anonymous report.
