Technology

Fairhaven Public Schools is committed to supporting students with the technology tools and resources they need to learn safely and effectively. Below you'll find information about student devices, safety tools, and family resources.

Chromebook Program

Every student is provided with a district-issued Chromebook to use throughout the school year.

Grades K–5

Shared Chromebooks kept in classroom carts.

Grades 6–8

Individually assigned in 6th grade; kept in classroom carts.

This is the same Chromebook the student will keep through senior year.
Grades 9–12

Student keeps their Chromebook with them at all times.

Chromebooks are kept at school over the summer.

What's an Asset Tag?

Every Chromebook issued by the district has an asset tag — a small sticker with a unique ID number, usually located on the bottom of the device.

This number helps the district identify and track each Chromebook. Please keep the asset tag visible and undamaged, and have it available when reporting a lost, stolen, or damaged device, or when bringing a device in for repair.
