Free Meals 2025-2026

All Fairhaven Public Schools students will receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the 2025–2026 school year under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which provides meals at no cost to all students—no application required.

Food Pantries

Food pantries provide free emergency groceries to individuals and families in the local community.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, provides monthly benefits to help Massachusetts residents with food.

  • How it works: Benefits are loaded onto an EBT card, which works like a debit card for food purchases.

SUN Bucks for Eligible Students

SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) is a federal food benefit that helps low-income families with school-aged children buy food when schools are closed for the summer.
